Our journey began almost 70 years ago when Norman Rosenberg’s parents, Holocaust survivors, immigrated to the United States just three months before he was born. Starting a high-end custom drapery workroom, his mother—a skilled seamstress—laid the foundation with meticulous hand-sewn details, while young Norman helped around the home and business, absorbing the art of quality from the start.
In his early 20s, Norman joined full-time, eventually becoming CEO. For more than 40 years, he’s guided the company’s evolution from traditional drapery specialists to cutting-edge “Interior Technologists.” His wife ran the workroom for 30 years, preserving core craftsmanship as the business embraced new horizons.
A pivotal milestone came 25 years ago: incorporating motorization. Pioneering automated window treatments, we became experts in Lutron motorized shades, blinds, draperies, tracks, and lighting controls—including Ketra tunable systems. Partnering with brands like Norman USA for shutters, we’ve completed over 10,000 installations, emphasizing seamless integration.
In 2020, we relocated primary operations to Florida’s Sarasota/Tampa/St. Pete area—becoming the only Lutron experts here with such deep window treatment roots. Today, while serving global clients, New York Metropolitan projects, and international work, our heart is in Southwest Florida—collaborating with talented interior designers, architects, builders, and homeowners.
